Toichiro Nakashima, the founder of our company, established Kewpie Corporation. He determined that the brand symbol of our company needed to be familiar and loving to customers. So he introduced the Kewpie doll as a brand symbol. Since then, we have used "Kewpie" as the company name to present day.
